About our farm

Mysteria Alpaca Farm

Our farm is set on 80 picturesque acres in the beautiful and scenic Grandchester.

We have 11 gentle alpacas for visitors to meet and feed with hay, chaff, and carrots.

Our farm is here to provide a fun, family-friendly environment where you can learn all about alpacas and their luxurious fiber.

Since our humble beginnings in 2009, we have constantly strived to increase our knowledge and expertise particularly with alpacas.

Whenever you visit, there is always something new happening on the farm!

Our Animals

As well as alpacas, we also have cattle, sheep, horses, and chickens.

Visitors can expect to see a variety of animals when they come for a visit.

We run a small herd of beef cattle comprising Bazadaise bulls paired with an assortment of cows including Brahmans, Square Meaters, Droughtmasters, and Murray Greys.

We are also sheep breeders so you will find Black Headed Dorper ewes and an Aussie White ram.

Besides this, we have the usual animals that you would find on a farm – chickens, guinea fowl, Thelma the goat, horses, dogs, and last but not least a small herd of alpacas.

We started breeding alpacas 12 years ago and now we just keep them for their unique personalities and their lustrous fleece.

Our 11 alpacas are very friendly and love to be petted. They are also very curious and often come up to visitors to say hello.

We have a variety of alpacas, including Huacaya, Suri, and Criollo.

When you visit, you can learn about the different types of alpacas and what makes them so special.
