a fun and educational experience

Welcome! We're a small mixed farming business comprising of cattle, sheep, horses, chickens, and alpacas.


We are located in the rural hamlet of historical Grandchester on the edge of the Lockyer Valley, an easy drive 73kms west of Brisbane and 43kms from Ipswich.


Our farm is open to the public Sundays from 10.00 am to 3.00 pm.


In 2009 we purchased 3 Alpacas, fell in love with them, and now have a much larger herd.

We are passionate about our animals and animal husbandry and want to share our knowledge with others.


Our onsite and online shop is stocked with alpaca products imported from Peru.


We aim to provide visitors with a fun and educational farm experience, where they can learn about and interact with the animals.


You are welcome to bring a picnic to enjoy at the farm.  There are picnic tables for your convenience.


Our closeness to Brisbane and Ipswich makes us a convenient day-trip destination for city slickers wanting to get out of the hustle and bustle and experience farm life first-hand
